Benetti Yachts
Caring for Beauty since 1873.
Benetti was founded in Viareggio in 1873 by Lorenzo Benetti. Its heritage spans wooden vessels, steel yachts, composite construction and today’s custom and semi-custom superyachts, supported by the shipyard’s engineering and production facilities in Italy.
Since joining the Azimut|Benetti Group in 1985, the yard has continued to combine advanced construction know-how with Italian artistry and international design collaborations. Benetti reports more than 420 yachts built since 1985 and over 300,000 square metres of production facilities.
Iconic beauty, shaped for each owner
Benetti’s Design Hub brings together the shipyard’s internal style department and internationally recognised designers. Exterior architecture, interiors and technical development are coordinated to give each project a clear identity while preserving efficiency and buildability.
This collaborative model supports both fully custom yachts and Benetti families with established naval platforms, allowing owners to personalise spaces, materials and atmosphere.
“An emblem of enduring beauty and superior craftsmanship, infused with the warmth and flair of Italian artistry.”
Advanced technology for a lighter footprint
Benetti develops hybrid propulsion, E-Mode operation, zero-emission hotel modes and more efficient hulls to reduce fuel and energy consumption across different operating profiles.
These systems are integrated into the yacht’s engineering from the design stage, balancing environmental performance with range, comfort and the quiet operation expected on a superyacht.
