Azimut Yachts
Contemporary, clever and audacious.
Azimut was founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli and launched its first yacht under the Azimut name in 1975. The Italian shipyard develops distinct motor-yacht families by bringing together contemporary design, naval architecture and an international dealer and service network.
Its innovation path includes the Carbon-Tech Generation introduced on the Azimut 72 in 2015, efficient hulls, advanced propulsion and the Seadeck series. Azimut states that its Low Emission Yachts reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions by 20% to 30% at average speeds compared with conventional models of similar size.
Design that expands life on board
Azimut integrates design and engineering from the first stages of development. Its Carbon-Tech approach places carbon fibre in selected upper structures, reducing weight where it has the greatest effect on stability and allowing designers to create larger onboard volumes.
The result is not a single visual formula, but a range in which exterior lines, natural light and circulation are developed around how owners use the yacht.
“Building the most beautiful, reliable, technological and innovative yachts.”
A measured route toward lower emissions
Azimut combines more efficient hull forms, weight reduction, advanced propulsion and energy-management systems to lower fuel use and emissions without giving up performance or comfort.
The Seadeck series advances that programme with hybrid-ready architecture, onboard energy recovery and solutions designed to reduce emissions both under way and at anchor.
