Azimut Seadeck 7

Hybrid family yacht with a sea-level Fun Island

The Seadeck 7 belongs to the first hybrid family Azimut created with families in mind, and it is built for spending the day outdoors. Its systems target emission cuts of up to 40%, while the Fun Island opens the cockpit into a lounge right at water level.

Opening the wide windows joins the saloon to the decks around it. The interior, by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, relies on natural and sustainable materials, many recycled or recyclable, inside a hull and superstructure styled by Alberto Mancini.

Exterior design

The exterior was designed by taking things away rather than adding them, so little stands between the yacht and its surroundings, and the redesigned Fun Island meets the water with nothing in the way.

Azimut Seadeck 7 — Interior design

Interior design

The interiors are conceived around wellbeing and connect naturally with the outside: when the large windows open, the boundary between the saloon and the horizon disappears.

Azimut Seadeck 7 — A green heart

A green heart

The series pairs Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht technology with hybrid propulsion and energy-saving systems on board. Over a typical year of cruising and time at anchor, the result is 40% less CO₂.

Azimut Seadeck 7 — The Fun Island

The Fun Island

Aboard the Seadeck 7, the Fun Island opens the stern on three sides. With the side wings down and the aft platform lowered, wide steps lead into the sea and the whole main deck becomes a place to meet, in and out of the water.

Azimut Seadeck 7 — Exterior and interior in dialogue

Exterior and interior in dialogue

From the first sketches, Alberto Mancini made the exterior interact with the interior. The lines move from dynamic to sinuous and essential, shaping the open space of the Fun Island for close contact with nature and total freedom on board.

Azimut Seadeck 7 — A gentle design

A gentle design

Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez brought their conscious approach to architecture to the interiors: working by subtraction, redefining luxury as wellbeing and choosing natural, sustainable, recycled and recyclable materials.

Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode

On the Seadeck 7, an 80 kWh lithium battery bank and an extra alternator on one engine allow time at anchor, and even some cruising, without starting the generator. Expect up to four zero-emission hours during the day and eight overnight at anchor, according to conditions, and up to eight hours of 220 V supply under way for the Seakeeper and air conditioning.

Full Hybrid Project

Developed together with Volvo Penta, this full-hybrid system brings electrification to a mid-size family yacht and marks the fourth step in the Azimut-Benetti Group’s electrification programme. It extends emission-free time at anchor, recovers energy, charges the batteries faster in Fast Charging mode and allows short periods of Pure Electric cruising and mooring, with no generator on board. It is still a pilot project, due to become available by the end of 2026.

Advanced Hull Design

Every Azimut series gets its own hull, designed by NAMES with the yard’s R&D department. The Seadeck 7’s is wider at the stern and slimmer at the bow than standard POD-optimised planing hulls, which helps it plane sooner, reduces drag at lower speeds and broadens the speed range in which it is most efficient.

Carbon Tech Generation

On the Seadeck 7, as much as 40% of the surface is built in carbon fibre; those sections weigh up to 30% less, which brings additional savings in fuel and emissions.

Solar Panels

The Seadeck 7 can carry 8.5 m² of photovoltaic panels on its deckhouse, rated at 1,410 Wp in total; the electricity they produce goes into the battery pack and reduces emissions further.

Recycled PET

Bottles get a second life in the Seadeck 7: recycled PET replaces PVC in 30% of the structure, including every bulkhead and 65% of the deck inside, using more than 10,000 bottles in each yacht and reducing demand for virgin plastic.

RINA Green Plus Certification

The Seadeck 7 holds RINA Green Plus certification, an environmental class award its series was the first in the shipyard to receive, without needing optional extras: the outcome of steady investment in technology and greener materials.
