Azimut’s first hybrid family yacht, open to the sea
The Seadeck 6 opened Azimut’s first hybrid series for families, the most efficient range the shipyard has ever designed: its technology aims to cut emissions by up to 40%. At the stern, the Fun Island reinvents the cockpit as an outdoor lounge at sea level, for direct, unobstructed contact with the water.
Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez chose cork, Econyl, PET and other natural, recycled or recyclable materials for the interior, while Alberto Mancini drew the exterior. The Sundeck version adds an open upper deck with a second helm.

Sundeck version
The Sundeck adds an open-air upper deck that keeps the yacht’s sleek lines, expands the outdoor relaxation areas and brings an additional helm station for greater control.
Sustainability
No other series of hybrid family yachts came before Seadeck. The project was built to save energy and fuel and to reduce its impact on the environment while keeping its performance, and it relies on natural, recycled or recyclable materials.
Fun Island
On the Seadeck 6, the stern turns into a lounge at sea level: two side wings fold open and an aft platform reveals broad steps into the water, so the main deck becomes one social space shared with those swimming.

Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode
Generator off, services on: that is the idea behind the Seadeck 6’s mild-hybrid system. Its 42 kWh lithium batteries are topped up by an additional alternator on one of the three engines, giving up to 4 hours of silent, emission-free power at anchor in daytime and 8 at night, depending on the weather. Under way, it can keep 220 V equipment such as the Seakeeper stabiliser and the air conditioning running for up to 8 hours.
Advanced Hull Design
Azimut’s R&D team and NAMES drew a dedicated hull for the Seadeck series. On the Seadeck 6 it is broader aft and sharper forward than a typical POD planing hull, so it gets on the plane earlier, meets less resistance at lower speeds and stays efficient across a wider band of speeds.
Carbon Tech Generation
Carbon fibre covers up to 40% of the Seadeck 6’s laminated surface, making those parts as much as 30% lighter and helping to reduce fuel use and CO₂ even more.
Solar Panels
As an option, 10 m² of solar panels on the deckhouse give the Seadeck 6 a combined 1,410 Wp to help recharge its batteries and cut CO₂ a little more. They cannot be fitted to the Sundeck version.
Recycled PET
Instead of PVC, the Seadeck 6 uses PET recovered from plastic bottles, so less new plastic is needed. Recycled PET accounts for 30% of the structure, in every bulkhead and floor and three quarters of the inner deck, roughly 15,000 bottles per boat.
RINA Green Plus Certification
Thanks to sustained investment in new technology and sustainable materials, Seadeck was the yard’s first series to obtain RINA’s Green Plus environmental certification, which the Seadeck 6 achieves even in its standard specification.
