Azimut Fly 68

Three main-deck layouts to match your way of living aboard

The Fly 68 was conceived to make life on board a personal choice. Three main-deck compositions range from open, informal solutions to more private arrangements, including an enclosed “Lanterna” galley behind light-filtering slats.

Up front, the sofas fold out into sunbathing pads, and the flybridge is split into three distinct outdoor areas. Alberto Mancini shaped the lines of the Fly 68, while Achille Salvagni Architetti designed its interiors.

Exterior design

The bow is designed to do several jobs, with seating that turns into sun loungers, and the flybridge is divided into three areas so life outdoors flows from one to the next.

Owners can pick from three main-deck arrangements: an open plan, a galley placed aft, or the more private “Lanterna” galley screened by slats that let light through.

Low Emission Yacht

Thanks to twin PODs, refined waterlines and generous use of carbon fibre, the Fly 68 burns 15 to 20% less fuel, and emits correspondingly less CO₂, than a comparable yacht with shaft drives.

Carbon-Tech Generation

Azimut builds the higher sections of the Fly 68 in carbon fibre, where saving weight does the most good. With those parts up to 30% lighter, the centre of gravity drops, natural rolling falls by up to 15% and there is more room inside.

Active Trim Control

Automatic interceptors manage the Fly 68’s trim as it gathers speed, holding the most efficient running angle and straightening the yacht when a crosswind or uneven weight makes it list. Less effort at the wheel, more time to enjoy it.

Advanced Joystick Control

The Fly 68’s joystick translates the gesture of the hand into the motion of the boat — sideways, forwards, backwards or rotating — for accurate docking. Engage Joystick Driving and the autopilot takes over: brief twists for 1° corrections, held twists for 10°, and the course is maintained when the stick returns to centre.

Integrated Control & Monitoring System

Azimut has adapted Garmin electronics on the Fly 68 so the owner can check and run the main systems — from engines and bilge pumps to tanks, ventilation, sound system and air conditioning — at both helms or from a smartphone.

Efficient Air Treatment

Aircare Energy Saving replaces all the air on the Fly 68 every two hours with filtered fresh air from outside, a difference felt most in the cabins. A dual-flow heat exchanger in each zone brings the incoming air to the right temperature and humidity without extra load on the air conditioning, and a three-layer filter captures 98% of fine particles such as pollen, dust mites and spores.

High Technical Standard Declaration

Azimut certifies in a written declaration that the Fly 68 was designed and engineered to the top standards for series-built pleasure yachts, from its materials to its technology and testing.
